Dear chess Players,

We are inviting you to the 10th Katowice Chess Festival, to be held on September 9-10, 2023 at the International Congress Center in Katowice, Poland.
This is a jubilee edition of the festival, and we are expecting a record number of participants. The tournament will be held in the Swiss format, with 9 rounds played over two days. The time control will be 15 minutes with an increment of 10 seconds per move.
The prize fund is 30 900 PLN, with 5 000 PLN going to the winner. The top three finishers will also receive trophies.
The deadline for applications is September 4, 2023. WGM’s and GM’s are exempt from fees if they register by August 20, 2023.
